For adult children of aging parents

If Mom ended up in the ER tonight, could you answer the nurse's questions?

Kinfold helps you and your siblings get Mom's medications, doctors, accounts, documents and wishes into one shared, backed-up binder in a single weekend, so whoever gets the call can step in without scrambling.

Works for Mom, Dad, both parents, or any loved one.

The phone rings at 2 a.m.

It's the hospital. Mom fell. They need her medication list, her doctor's name and her insurance card.

You're forty minutes away. Your sister thinks the list is on the fridge. Your brother is sure it's in Mom's purse. Nobody knows where the power of attorney is. And Mom, scared and hurting, can't remember.

That isn't a failure of love. It's a missing system.

Kinfold is the system.

Why I built Kinfold

My dad was the record keeper in our family. When he passed, much of what he knew went with him.

Helping my mom afterward meant going through his filing cabinet and sorting through her prescriptions, trying to work out which medications she was actually taking and which she wasn't. Mom has some memory challenges, so she couldn't always fill in the gaps. The information we needed was missing, and finding it took time at a moment that was already emotional and exhausting.

I built Kinfold so no family has to go through that search on top of everything else.

Sound familiar?

The drawer

A kitchen drawer of statements, prescriptions and sticky notes that only Mom understands.

The group text

Three siblings, four versions of the truth, and the answer you need buried 200 messages up.

The question you keep putting off

You know you need to ask about the will and her wishes. You just don't know how to start.

You're not alone. In a December 2025 Finance of America survey, one in three Americans aged 40 to 60 said caring for both aging parents and children was putting them under significant emotional, physical and financial strain.

How Kinfold works

  1. 1

Fill it in over one weekend

Guided prompts walk you through eight sections. Set up a binder for each parent, all in one account. Snap photos of insurance cards and pill bottles instead of typing.

  2. 2

    Bring the family in

Invite siblings to help and Mom as a full partner. She sees everything and approves her own wishes.

  3. 3

    Rest easy, it's backed up

Every change saves to encrypted cloud backup with version history. Lose a phone and nothing is lost.

Questions families ask

My mom is very private. Will she go along with this?

Kinfold is built around her, not around you. She sees everything, adds her own notes and approves her wishes in her own words. The Conversation scripts help you open the subject in a way that respects her.

My siblings won't download another app.

They don't have to. Kinfold runs in any web browser, so a sibling only needs the link. Make someone a viewer if they'll never edit.

Is my family's information safe?

Kinfold never asks for passwords or account numbers. Everything is backed up with encryption, you choose who sees what, and you can remove someone's access at any time.

What will it cost?

Kinfold will be free to start, with a paid family plan for sharing, cloud backup and the ER Card. Waitlist members hear the price first and lock in founding-family pricing.

What if it's Dad, or a grandparent, I'm caring for?

Kinfold works for any parent, grandparent or loved one who may someday need the family to step in.
