Kinfold Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

This policy explains how Gravity Well Marketing, Inc. ("Kinfold," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares consumer health data through Kinfold, and the rights you have. It is written to meet Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada and Connecticut, and we apply it to everyone who uses Kinfold, wherever they live. It supplements our main Privacy Policy.

"Consumer health data" means personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to a person and identifies their past, present or future physical or mental health. In Kinfold, that usually means information about the parent or loved one a binder is for.

Categories of consumer health data we collect

  • Medications, doses, schedules and refill details
  • Doctors, specialists, pharmacies and appointment information
  • Health insurance details, including photos of insurance cards
  • Health-related documents you upload, such as a health care directive or power of attorney
  • Notes about health conditions, care needs or memory, if you choose to add them
  • Care wishes written by or for the person the binder is for
  • The fact that you are caring for a parent or loved one, where that reveals health information

We do not collect precise location, biometric data or genetic data.

Sources

We collect this data directly from you, from family members you invite to a binder, and from the person the binder is for, if they are invited. We do not buy health data and we do not collect it from data brokers.

Why we collect it and how we use it

We collect and use consumer health data only to provide the Kinfold service you asked for: storing and backing up the binder, sharing it with the family members you choose, keeping version history, creating the ER Card and PDF exports you request, and keeping the service secure. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Your consent

We collect consumer health data only with your consent, given in the app before you add health information, and only for the purposes above. Sharing it with anyone beyond our service providers requires your separate consent, which you give each time you invite someone to a binder or create an ER Card link. You can withdraw consent at any time by removing information, removing a person's access, deleting a binder, or contacting us.

Who we share it with

  • People you choose: family members you invite, according to the role you give them, and anyone you send a time-limited ER Card link.
  • Service providers (processors) that host, store, back up, secure or email on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to providing that service and require them to protect the data. Current categories: cloud hosting and storage, and our website and email platform.
  • As required by law, such as a valid court order. Where allowed, we will tell you first.

We do not share consumer health data with advertisers, ad networks, social media platforms or data brokers, and we do not sell it.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and see a list of the third parties and affiliates we have shared it with, with their contact information;
  • access a copy of your consumer health data;
  • withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of it;
  • have it deleted, including from backups and from our processors, as the law requires; and
  • appeal if we decline your request.

We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

How to exercise your rights

Email [email protected] with the subject "Health data request," or call 850-450-5791. Many requests, such as deleting a binder, you can also do yourself inside the app. We will verify your identity, respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need up to 45 more days. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject "Appeal." We will answer your appeal within 45 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Attorney General of your state; in Washington, visit www.atg.wa.gov.
